The Coalville Senior Center Lunch is Delicious!

We had the awesome experience of visiting the Senior Center in Coalville. It's located at 150 Park Rd. They have lunch there every Wednesday at 12:00. We arrived early to hear the announcements and visit with the elderly folks there.

Everyone was so friendly and kind! They asked us to introduce ourselves and were so welcoming! They've got a full calendar of events and activities.

The best part, I must say, was the lunch! It cost us $6 each (because we were under 60 - you'll pay only $5 if you're over 60). They take cash or check. We had a well-seasoned shrimp pasta with garlic bread and a salad. The shrimp were huge and juicy! The salad was fantastic.

Just when we thought it was done, they brought us a dessert with a fruit pastry covered with vanilla ice cream. It was truly delicious.

This was seriously the best $6 meal I've ever had. You really can't beat the deal and the company. These were some of the most fun, talkative and caring people I've ever met. If you ever find yourself hungry at 12:00 on a Wednesday, come by the senior center and they will take care of you!
