On Saturday, March 15th, locals gathered to collect food the Coalville Pantry. This drive was organized by the Relief Society in the Coalville Stake for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

It was a big success we they gathered over 3,000 pounds of food of all kinds - everything from pink salmon to peanut butter.

In three hours, the food was delivered and then organized by type and placed on the shelves. When we ran out of room on the shelves, we organized stacks of boxes in the hallway.

A big thank you to everyone who donated and the many people who spend hours there on a Saturday morning to be sure that every bottle, can and bag were in the right place to make needed food easy to find for those in need.
It may have been a little thing to donate or help, but these little acts of service add up and are a huge blessing to the community. Those who participated are following the example of the Savior who "went about doing good." (Acts 10:38)
